Thermal Grizzly Cleaning Wipes (TG Cleaning Wipes) are cleaning cloths for cleaning surfaces before thermal paste or liquid metal goes on. This is the complete set of 40 cleaning wipes: 20 dry wipes and 20 wet wipes, packed in ten double packs.

Why the surface has to be clean
Clean and degreased surfaces are important so that thermal conductive materials such as thermal pastes or liquid metal can adhere well and thus develop their full thermal conductivity. This is where the wipes come into play. The wet wipes are optimized for removing thermal paste residues, and a pack also removes grease residues (e.g. fingerprints).
Assembly aids also adhere better to cleaned surfaces, such as the TG Kapton Insulation Sheet or the TG Shield protective coating.
How to use a double pack
Each double pack holds what one cleaning needs, so the ten packs contain enough for up to ten cleaning processes. Cleaning runs in three steps:
- First, stubborn dirt is removed with a dry wipe.
- Next, the surface is cleaned with the two wet wipes.
- In the third step the surface is dried and then wiped with a fresh dry cloth.
The wipes are packaged in separate double packs for easy storage, which makes the set practical to keep available. Thermal Grizzly's cleaner in a bottle is Remove, 10ml.
