The Aquacomputer VISION Replacement Module For Cuplex Kryos NEXT With RGB LED is a replacement part used for the acrylic versions of the cuplex kryos NEXT water block. It is the VISION module assembly, with integrated OLED display and RGB LED.

What it is

The module sold here swaps out the display unit of an acrylic block. Aquacomputer describes the VISION module as a multi-purpose display and monitoring controller.

RGB LED

The RGB illumination follows a sensor input, or it is set to a fixed color or a color gradient. In sensor controlled mode, two colors are tied to two sensor readings, for instance temperatures, and the module blends a gradient for the values between them.

As a countdown timer, the LED is white for the first 50 % of the interval, blue for the next 25 % and green for the final 25 %. It then blinks red for 15 seconds. As an optical alarm clock, time, days, colors and duration are configurable. The module has no buffered real time clock, so the clock resets when power is interrupted.

What you need to connect it

The module connects to an internal USB header on your motherboard; take special care that the pin alignment matches. A spare cable is the internal USB connection cable for VISION, 100 cm (53215).

aquasuite software

The aquasuite software is not required for operation: every setting can be saved into the device's memory. With this product you receive a license for the current aquasuite version, and activation includes an upgrade service for at least six (6) months. After it expires, the latest version from the upgrade period stays usable and reinstallable with no time limit. The update service can be extended or renewed for a fee. Please note that an Internet connection is required for installation and activation. Further information about licensing can be found on Aquacomputer's website.

Notes

• Completely turn off your power supply before connecting or disconnecting any cable.
• Electronic components and headers must not get in contact with coolant or water.

The manual covers the whole VISION series, so some chapters do not apply to this module.
