The Aquacomputer ULTITUBE 50 Reservoir (34151) is a stand-alone tube reservoir of approx. 110 ml with G1/4 connection threads and a borosilicate glass tube 65 mm across and 50 mm long. No pump is included, and neither are the fittings.

Borosilicate glass tube
Every reservoir of the ULTITUBE series is equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass instead of the acrylic glass (Plexiglas) often used for tube reservoirs. In contrast to acrylic, Aquacomputer points out, borosilicate has a very high hardness and scratch resistance. It also offers very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Note that the number 50/100/150/200 in the product name refers to the length of the glass tube in millimeters, so this one is 50 mm long.
Metal rings of black anodized aluminum are firmly connected to both ends of the tube, and they do not come into contact with the cooling medium. The base and lid are durable acetal, screwed to the glass. After unscrewing the cap, there is a large opening at the top for filling the expansion tank.
Filter and seals
In the bottom of the container sits an integrated filter element of fine stainless steel wire mesh. In addition to its function as a particle filter, the element also separates air bubbles from the coolant. The mesh is set in a molded rubber part and can be rinsed out under running water (tap water), for example. The seal in the upper area of the glass tube is designed as a molded rubber part as well, for easy assembly, and therefore stays securely positioned when the lid is screwed on.
What the loop needs
Mounting material is included for installation on a side/rear wall of the case, or for vertical mounting on the bottom of the case. Reservoir connections are not included: please order suitable G1/4 fittings separately from our fittings section. A pump is needed elsewhere in the loop. The technical specifications above give the dimensions without the fastening material. The same size with a D5 PWM pump installed in the base is the ULTITUBE 50 reservoir with D5 PWM pump (34155).
