The Aquacomputer Top for ULTITUBE Reservoir with Pressure Membrane (34116) is a replacement lid made from acetal for ULTITUBE series reservoirs (expansion tanks), with a pressure compensation membrane integrated into it.

How the membrane works
Temperature changes in a running loop make the pressure inside it rise and fall. The membrane lets gases pass, so the internal pressure of the loop is continuously brought back to the ambient pressure. Those fluctuations caused by heat are compensated via the membrane without any coolant being able to escape: Aquacomputer says it blocks coolant from leaking completely.
What it fits
This lid is a spare for a reservoir you already own, for example the ULTITUBE D5 100 PRO reservoir (34094) or the ULTITUBE D5 150 reservoir (34091). The plain lid without a membrane is the top for ULTITUBE reservoir (34121).
