Aquacomputer Kryoconnect SLI Bridge | 5 Slot (23552)

The Aquacomputer Kryoconnect SLI Bridge | 5 Slot is a direct connection kit that joins two or three kryographics graphics card water blocks for SLI or Crossfire systems, five slots wide. With two cards the spacing may be two or four slots; with three cards, one empty slot sits between each card.

How the kit works

The kryoconnect allows you to directly connect the waterblocks of several cards with one part. The kit comes with a connection block made of Delrin, which replaces the connection blocks of the individual water blocks. Water blocks can be installed in the combination your type of motherboard calls for: the positions of its PCIe slots decide which connection stays unused. An unused connection is closed with the stainless steel plate included in delivery, and the supplied sealing screws are used to determine whether the waterblocks are connected in parallel or in series.

Installation

The unused connection of the kryoconnect is sealed first, with the stainless steel cover over two of the supplied O-rings. A G1/4 set screw in one connection thread opens the duct, and the fittings go on that side. Each further card gets another set screw, alternately right or left, making the coolant flow consecutively through all water blocks. The blocks are then mounted with their original screws and O-rings; the slight triangle of their three screws must match the threads of the water block.

What the loop needs

Up to three graphics cards with kryographics water blocks, any of the models listed below, plus G1/4 fittings for the connections in use; see our SLI/Crossfire fittings. For two cards with active back plates, Aquacomputer makes the kryoconnect for active back plates (23574).
