The Aquacomputer Calitemp Temperature Sensor Inline and Outline G1/4 For Aquaero 5/6 is a digital coolant temperature sensor with one G1/4 inner thread and one G1/4 outer thread. It is connected to the aquabus of an aquaero 5 or aquaero 6 with firmware version 2100 or newer.

How it fits
Aquacomputer rates this digital sensor for excellent accuracy over a wide temperature range. It has threads on both sides and can therefore be mounted directly on a CPU cooler or radiator to save space. Gently pulled from the metal part, the rubber ring with the cable connector turns into six positions.
What a run needs
For operation, an aquaero such as the aquaero 6 LT is additionally required. The supplied cable goes to its "aquabus high" connection, which supports a single Calitemp sensor without additional hardware; other aquabus devices share it through splitter 53124 or 53231. Alternatively, a maximum of four Calitemp sensors run on one aquaero via an "aquabus X4" (53258). Neither ships with it.

Aquacomputer notes that every aquasuite since version 2017 requires a valid license or activation; this sensor needs one for 2018 or newer, sold separately.

Notes
- Never connect multiple Calitemp sensors directly to an aquaero through splitters; use the aquabus X4.
- Real accuracy depends on the environment and is considerably lower in most cases; pipe insulation over the sensor improves it.
