The Aquacomputer Aqualis XT 100 mL with Fill Level and Lighting Option is a 100 ml tube reservoir with a borosilicate glass tube and two G1/4 connection threads in the base. Its electronic fill level sensor reports over USB and aquabus. It is a stand-alone reservoir, so no pump or pump top is included.

Borosilicate glass tube
Every reservoir of the aqualis series is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. Tube reservoirs often use acrylic glass; in contrast, Aquacomputer says borosilicate glass is extremely hard and scratch-resistant. It also features superb thermal and chemical resistance and a very low thermal expansion. On the 100 ml and 150 ml variants the glass tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. Base and top are made from Delrin and connected by a stainless steel rod.
All 100 ml and 150 ml variants are also available with a nano coating that will cause water to roll off the inner surface of the glass tube. Many reservoirs are also available with pump top adapters and pumps pre-installed.
Connections and air removal
Both the return line and the suction line connect to the connectors in the base of the reservoir. Above the return channel into the reservoir, a deflector plate is installed to effectively remove air from the water circuit.
Fill level sensor, alarm output and lighting
Additionally, the XT variants feature a programmable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input next to the fill level sensor. The sensor inside is an mps pressure Δ40, and its pressure equalization membrane is installed into the top of the reservoir. For monitoring and configuration, the aquasuite software can be downloaded free of charge.
In addition to the USB interface, the 4-pin aquabus interface can connect the fill level sensor directly to an aquaero 5 or 6 controller (not included in delivery). The alarm output can be configured as a rpm signal to a fan connector with fault detection (for example motherboard fan headers). It can also be used as a switched output, for example to connect a LED. Fill level and the external temperature sensor input, which is compatible with all Aqua Computer temperature sensors, can each be configured to raise an alarm.
The aqualis XT 100/150 ml variants also have an acrylic window in the base part, and one LED (5 mm size) at most can be installed there. Remove the stainless steel cover from the base (one screw), insert the LED into the mounting hole between the two water connectors and secure it with a little glue.
What the loop needs
Fittings are not included in delivery: the two base connectors each take a G1/4 fitting from our fittings section. A separate pump from our pumps section moves the coolant. A temperature sensor for the external input is in our G1/4 temperature sensors section.
Four M4 x 6 mm screws supplied with the reservoir fasten the stainless steel bracket to it, and four more M4 x 6 mm screws with nuts mount the bracket to the PC.
aquasuite software
Activating this product gives you the current version of the aquasuite software with an upgrade service for at least six (6) months. After the upgrade service expires, you may keep using and reinstalling the latest version released during that period with no time limit. The update service can optionally be extended or renewed at any time for a fee. Installation and activation of the aquasuite need an internet connection.

Notes
- Connectors with a larger outer diameter than the recesses can only be installed with suitable extensions, not included in delivery.
- The top comes off counter-clockwise to free the glass tube; keep the gaskets aligned in their grooves and screw it back by hand with moderate force, no tools.
- Screws in the plastic base part take light force only, so the threads are not damaged.
