Details
The Aquacomputer Aquainlet XT 100 mL with Fill Level and Lighting Option | Nano Coated is a 100 ml tube reservoir that slides directly onto an aquastream XT or Eheim 1046 pump. Its base carries an electronic fill level sensor with USB and aquabus, and the inside of the glass tube has a nano coating. No pump is included.

Borosilicate glass tube with nano coating
Like all reservoirs of the Aqualis series, the aquainlet is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. Acrylic glass is often used for tube reservoirs; borosilicate glass, in contrast, is extremely hard and scratch-resistant. It features superb thermal and chemical resistance and a very low thermal expansion. On the 100 ml and 150 ml variants the tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm.
This version has the nano coating, which will cause water to roll off the inner surface of the tube; most variants are also available with it. Base and top are made from Delrin and connected by a stainless steel rod.
Fill level sensor, alarm output and lighting
The XT variants feature an acrylic window in the base part, where one LED (5 mm size) can be installed. They additionally carry an electronic fill level sensor (an mps pressure Δ40) with USB and aquabus interface, a programmable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuration, the aquasuite software can be downloaded free of charge. In addition to USB, the 4-pin aquabus interface connects the sensor directly to an aquaero 5 or 6 controller such as the aquaero 6 LT (not included in delivery).
The alarm output works either as an rpm signal for a fan connector with fault detection (for example motherboard fan headers) or as a switched output, for example to connect a LED. Fill level and external temperature can each be configured to raise an alarm. The input is compatible with all Aqua Computer temperature sensors, such as the G1/4 temperature sensor (53067). Many reservoirs from Aquacomputer are also available with pump top adapters and pumps pre-installed; this one comes without a pump.
What the loop needs
The reservoir needs an aquastream XT or Eheim 1046 pump. Remove the silver suction grille and any connection adapter from the suction side of the pump, then slide the reservoir onto the suction port until it locks into the pump housing. A little water or glycerin on the seal inside eases this.
The return line of the water circuit goes to one of the two connectors in the base, and the supplied sealing plug closes the other. The pressure line runs straight to the pressure port of the pump, which may need an additional connection adapter (not included). Matching tube fittings are in our fittings section.
Notes
- Fit the LED into the mounting hole above the pump receptacle before the reservoir goes onto a pump, and secure it with a little glue; a small channel in the base carries its cable.
- Install the pressure equalizing membrane into the top of the reservoir.
- To open the reservoir, turn the top counter-clockwise and lift out the glass tube without losing the gaskets. On reassembly, align the gaskets in their grooves and use moderate force, no tools.
In the box

The installation manual for the aquainlet 100/150 PRO/XT covers the LED, mounting on the pump, taking the reservoir apart and connecting it to the loop.
