The Alphacool Reservoir Clip-On 60mm - Black 2 Pieces is a pair of black plastic clip-on mounts for a tube reservoir, the 60 mm size of Alphacool's universal mounting system. One pack holds two pieces. Additional screws are needed for mounting and are not part of the pack.

Why Alphacool built it
Alphacool calls these the best Alphacool reservoir mounts of all times. Its reasoning: many reservoir mounts were designed for the original tube reservoirs from the beginning of the PC water cooling sector. During the last years, though, reservoirs became larger, were sized for more capacity and had metal integrated for the end caps. This resulted in heavier reservoirs, making the construction of more sturdy mounts imperative.
Fit and clamping
Alphacool says every tube reservoir with an outer diameter of 50 or 60 mm can be mounted safely and securely with this universal mounting system. This article is the 60 mm clip, and its technical specifications give an inner diameter of 50 mm. The design is based on hose clamps, which, with their closed-loop clamping design, are able to safely seal in pressures of multiple bar.
LED installation
Of course a possibility for LED installation was also implemented. Each mount has two slightly pre-drilled 5 mm holes in the back, and they are not opened. They can be drilled as needed, and then, in Alphacool's words, nothing stands in the way of spectacular lighting for your reservoir. LEDs of that size are in our 5mm LEDs section.
What mounting needs
The screws are extra. The mounting holes are M4, and we keep screws with that thread in our M4 screws section. Alphacool's note names the screws it would recommend ordering with the mounting clips: Item No. 46023.
