Details
The Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta Full Copper 200mm Radiator is a 200 mm radiator for one 180 or 200 mm fan, 8.7 cm thick, with end chambers, water channels and cooling fins made of copper. The thinner radiator in the same fan size is the XT45 Full Copper 200mm.

Make No Compromises, Use Copper
Alphacool opens with the question "Bigger is better... right!?" and answers it with pure copper, which it uses, as usual, for the NexXxoS Monsta 200 mm radiator too. The end chambers, the water channels and the cooling fins are all made of copper, which Alphacool calls a unique selling point worldwide. As a result, it says, its radiators have been among the most popular and best on the market for many years. Alphacool sees them as providing the perfect foundation for every water cooling system.
Full cooling performance
To maximize the performance of a radiator, Alphacool says it reaches deep into its bag of tricks, and copper is the starting point. It gives a thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminum and calls the winner clear. Alongside this is the special fin density. Alphacool describes itself as one of the oldest companies in the field of water cooling and says it has carried out countless laboratory tests. The result, especially for such large radiators, is a fin spacing of 12 FPI. With it the air flow is almost unobstructed. This means the air can pass through even without high pressure. However, Alphacool says, the cooling capacity does not suffer from this, on the contrary. To use the airflow optimally, all cooling fins have small serrations. These are tiny flaps that guide the airflow in the desired direction and increase the surface area. In the case of radiators they are barely 1 mm high, but they still provide controlled air turbulence, which Alphacool says helps to increase cooling capacity and minimize airflow noise.
Which fans?
The radiator offers space for one fan with 154 or 165 mm mounting holes on the mounting frame. Fans are screwed onto this frame, which can also be removed for purely passive operation in order not to obstruct the natural airflow. The fan slots are 2 x 185x185 mm, 1 x 165x165 mm and 1 x 155x155 mm. The thread size for fan mounting is M3.
Connection options
Six G1/4 threads are there for IN and OUT. A further G1/4 thread sits on the back of the radiator and serves as a fill port. Alternatively, a temperature sensor or a drain port can also be attached here. Alphacool's closing line is "Small was yesterday". With a cooling surface of 20 x 20 cm, it says, the 200 mm radiator offers more than enough cooling power to cool every CPU and every graphics card.
What the loop needs
A loop uses two of the IN and OUT threads, so the radiator takes two G1/4 fittings, and the stop plugs in the box close the threads that stay unused. The fan mounting bracket comes preassembled, and the screws and an Allen key are in the box.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
