The Alphacool HT 16mm HardTube Compression Fitting G1/4 for Plexi or Brass Tubes - Knurled - Deep Black - Six Pack holds six screw-on fittings. Each has a G1/4 thread and takes a hard tube with an outer diameter of 16 mm. Alphacool lists it as the HT 16mm HardTube screw-on nozzle and names acrylic, brass or carbon tubes for it.

What it connects
Each connector joins one 16 mm tube to a G1/4 thread. The tube sits on one end, and on the other side it is the usual G1/4 thread. It is suitable for all hard metal tubes of that size. Alphacool calls the HT compression fitting a true masterpiece and says these connectors promise absolute tightness and high quality.
How it seals
First, we put the union nut onto the tube. It is followed by a plastic disc, which protects the O-ring, and then by the thick O-ring itself. Now the tube is easily inserted into the connector, where the second O-ring is already seated and rests very close to the tube. As a final step, the union nut is pushed up and screwed onto the connection. The bottom of the fitting can be easily tightened by using an 8 mm Allen key.
Finish and pack
The series is available in Deep Black and Chrome. Alphacool says a new chromating process firmly bonds the coloring to the brass base, so the intense color lasts and the layer does not chip. Alphacool lettering is on the connections. The six-pack exists because six connections of one type are often required.
What a run needs
A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, so this pack covers three runs. Tubes to match are in our 16mm hard tubing section.
Notes
- Alphacool's note on application: use only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids.
- The particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
