Directly on the component
To save space, the quick connector can now be placed directly on a radiator or cooler instead of mounting it on a tube via connectors. This HF quick release coupling set TPV is compatible with all Alphacool Eisbaer AIO systems, all Eissturm sets and the external cooling solution Eiswand.
Not made of brass
Alphacool says the material is extremely strong, and the entire quick disconnect is ultra-lightweight with a total weight of only 20 g. Additionally, it is non-conductive, which means you don't have to worry about the quick release coming into contact with any components during installation. This is also because its temperature resistance is extremely high.
Twist lock instead of click lock
All previous quick-release fasteners with twist locks are compatible with this connector. Furthermore, Alphacool says it offers a higher level of safety compared to a click lock, as it cannot pop open due to incorrect handling. The fixed screw connection cannot come loose without direct action, thus the fastener always remains firmly closed.
Double O-ring system
When closing the quick release, another O-ring is used in addition to the normal one for safety. The second ring is there to protect against two possible problems. If for some reason the first O-ring should malfunction, the second secures the quick release to prevent water from escaping, and the defect is easy to see when opening it. If you accidentally do not close the thread 100%, then the second O-ring can also prevent leakage.
What the loop needs
Each of the two male threads screws into a G1/4 inner thread, such as the port of a radiator or cooler.
