The Alphacool GPU RAM Copper Heatsinks 6.5x6.5mm - 10pcs are small passive heat sinks made of solid copper, each 6.5 x 6.5 mm, ten pieces per pack. They go on the graphics card VRam and on other electronic components that need cooling. The same heat sinks also come in 10x10mm and 14x14mm.

Where they go
Alphacool calls the small heat sinks a perfect addition for cooling various electronic components. Its product information names examples such as the VRam of the graphics card and the voltage converters (voltage transformer) on a motherboard. They can even sit in a power amplifier or in RC vehicles.
Copper with a coating
The coolers are made of copper to ensure maximum heat capacity and, with it, cooling performance. Bare copper is known for an infamous greenish discoloration. Alphacool uses a special coating to prevent that as much as possible. According to Alphacool this increases the lifespan of the cooler and ensures steady cooling performance.
What mounting needs
The heat sinks can be installed onto the desired components with thermal adhesive or with self-adhesive thermal pads. Both are optional, as is thermal paste, and none of them is in the box.
