Alphacool G1/4 Male to Male 3mm Extension - Black (17037)

The Alphacool G1/4 Male to Male 3mm Extension - Black is a double nipple with a G1/4 outer (male) thread on both ends and an O-ring, one per pack. It adds 3 mm of length. Alphacool lists it as the HF double nipple G1/4 AG to G1/4 AG with O-ring - Deep Black.

What it does

A double nipple with two G1/4 external threads is useful when you want to extend connections. It also joins components that have internal threads to a distributor or a similar part.

High flow and colors

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, color and choice. Its main claim is an inner diameter that truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper are the first three colors, and Alphacool says they offer something for every taste; this one is Deep Black. The matching product series are designed to look elegant in every system, highlighting the individual design of the computer. In its words the limits are endless when these fittings are used in combination with Alphacool tubing.

Finish

The body is brass. With a new process during chromating, the surface finish is completely connected with it, hence ensuring permanent intense colors and no peeling or flaking of the chrome layer, Alphacool says. It adds that the Alphacool name in blue lettering on some of the fittings additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What a run needs

Each end screws into a G1/4 inner thread, for example a port on one of our G1/4 distribution blocks. The double nipple has no tube connection of its own.

Notes

• Alphacool's note on application: use the double nipple only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
