What it does

The fitting is used to guide a hose through a housing. It is screwed firmly to the housing with its lock nut. Alphacool lists it as the HF bulkhead fitting short version.

High flow

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice. In its words the inner diameter truly deserves the "high flow" attribute.

Finish and colors

Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper were the first three colors of the range, which Alphacool says offer something for every taste. Alphacool designed the product matching series to look elegant in every system while highlighting the individual design of the computer. With these fittings in combination with Alphacool tubing, the maker says, the limits are endless. A new process during chromatising (chromating) leaves the surface finish completely connected with the brass body, hence ensuring permanent intense colors. Alphacool adds that it prevents peeling of the chrome layer. On some of the fittings the Alphacool name in blue lettering additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What a run needs

Once the fitting sits in the panel, the 1/4 inch internal thread takes standard hose connections, so a pass-through uses two parts from our fittings section, one on each side of the panel.
