Reliable Cooling Performance
Alphacool has specifically designed this U-shaped water cooler to meet the high demands of powerful memory. Modern RAM modules are becoming more powerful, generating increasing amounts of waste heat, and reliable cooling is essential to avoid a loss of performance. Alphacool says this cooler meets that requirement and that all eight modules can be efficiently cooled. As is usual with Alphacool products, it is made entirely of copper, which Alphacool says is to ensure maximum cooling performance.
Easy Installation
Alphacool says installation has been made as simple as possible. Each RAM module is enclosed by two nickel-plated copper sheet plates with thermal pads between them, and the modules are then installed on the motherboard. The pads differ in thickness: the 1.5 mm pad goes on the side of a single-sided stick, the 0.5 mm pad on both sides of a double-sided one. First remove the thinner protective film from each pad. Then the cooler is routed over the modules and placed on the memory slots. To take a stick out again, pull it with the RAM tool.
What the loop needs
The cooler has four G1/4 ports, an input and an output connection each to the front and to the sides. Two are used and the other two take the two plugs in the box, screwed in with the plug tool. Depending on the space available you choose the side or the front ports, which allow for flexible integration into the water cooling loop. Its flat design and these versatile connection options make it easy to install in almost any server or workstation case, according to Alphacool. The two open ports take two fittings, which are not in the set.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
