The Alphacool ES D-Plug 20mm G1/4 Male to Male Resizable Fitting - Chrome is a brass adapter fitting with two G1/4 male threads, one fitting per pack. It is 20 mm long and can extend by up to 5 mm. Use it to connect the G1/4 ports of two water cooling components, like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators, directly to each other within a water circuit. It belongs to Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS (ES) series.

What's New?
Compared to double nipples or similar adapters, the two halves of this connector are plugged into each other and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings that sit on the Male component. Alphacool says that, of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab, with the result that it is stable up to 1.5 bar.
Uses
The D-Plug offers the possibility of an easy connection between water cooling elements such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators. Since the two halves are only plugged in, Alphacool calls easy installation or quick replacement uncomplicated. The length is variable: by pulling the connector apart, an extension of up to 5 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows compensation for inaccuracies in the system design and prevents hoses from twisting during assembly. With its use, a connection is possible even in the tightest spaces. Alphacool also lists flexible use, a brilliant chrome finish, a unique, distinctive design and durability among its features.
The right size for every application
The ES D-Plug is available in lengths of 20 mm, 25.5 mm and 31.5 mm, and this is the 20 mm one. They come in multiple colors, such as brilliant chrome or matte black. Six replacement O-rings in three different colors are included.

Application notes
- To ensure the required stability and tightness, both O-rings of the Male component must be fully recessed in the Female component.
- Alphacool states that the specified pressure of 1.5 bar is reached only when both sides of the plug are mounted to fixed parts.
