The Alphacool Eiszapfen Angled Adaptor 45° G1/4 OT to G1/4 IT - Chrome is a 45° angled adapter fitting for water cooling loops, one adapter per pack. It has a G1/4 male thread (OT, the outer thread) on one end and a G1/4 female thread (IT, the inner thread) on the other. The body is brass in chrome.

Version

This version is equipped with 2 threads, one female and one male, both G1/4. A 45° angled fitting of this kind is used in water circuits where there is limited space for tubing and a special solution is required.

The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen Connector Series the high-end execution of these tried-and-true connectors. Every requirement you could have of a connector is met with this series, it says, and it names four: highflow, form, processing and color. In Alphacool's words, a refusal to compromise in development and production has made the series into what it is. Components are available in brilliant chrome or a deep, matte black, and Alphacool says both will fit excellently into any system. This adapter is the chrome one.

Coating, logo and O-rings

A special procedure binds the outer coating firmly to the surface. Alphacool gives two results: improving the longevity of the intense color, and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Every connector now has the Alphacool logo, which along with their distinctive shape makes them unmistakable, the maker adds. If you like it colorful, you will find three different colored O-rings in the scope of delivery. With UV lighting, if that is available in your case, these even glow in the corresponding color.

What a run needs

The male end screws into a G1/4 port in the loop. The female end takes a G1/4 fitting for your tube, which is not in the box: pick one for your tube size from our fittings.
