PETG Tube No Longer Sawed?
Alphacool calls the cutter a versatile tool that can be used for many jobs. It is not only used to cut Alphacool Eistubes PETG HardTubes and standard soft tubing: thanks to the adjustable angle it will come in handy for many other jobs while modding. The PETG Eistubes are relatively soft for HardTubes. They can therefore not only be bent at relatively low temperatures, they can also be cut with the tool, and Alphacool says perfectly. Once the tube is placed on the protractor, it is simply cut as if with scissors. With normal hoses the procedure is just as easy.
But What's With The Angles?
Those who want to up their modding game by using HardTubes often change various things on the case and other components as well. There are a lot of things that must be cut: cable sleeving, insulation, LED Strips, various caps to cover certain parts in the PC and much more. Here one often needs angled cuts, and Alphacool says perfect ones.
How To Use The Angle?
The support surface is generously chosen, and the angle can be adjusted up to a cutting edge of 45°. This is done in 15° increments, whereby the angle always engages cleanly and thus remains in position.
The Blade Is Blunt, What Now?
It is important to keep the blade sharp, so of course you can change the blade. All you need to do is loosen a screw on the side using an 8 mm open-end wrench, then replace the blunt blade with a new one. A 3-pack of replacement blades is also available from Alphacool, so you can stock up and always be prepared.

What a run needs
Alphacool's steps are to heat up the hard tube and cut it to the desired length. A cut hard tube end is then deburred before it goes into a fitting, and the Strong Guy deburrer does the inner and the outer edge.
