Low Noise Edition
Alphacool presents this as its new Low Noise Edition of the Laing DDC, "for absolute silence!" It calls the Laing DDC pump one of the best known pumps in the watercooling industry. Alphacool writes that "recently we have been working with Laing to take the DDC to the next level". According to Alphacool, the new Laing DDC310 was designed with a perfect balance of power and silence in mind.
Brass housing
Unlike other versions with the plastic base, this one has a revised design with a new brass housing, which Alphacool describes as superbly tuned. The housing aids the pumps cooling. Alphacool promises a longer life of the pump from this housing and guarantees it especially when the pump is placed in areas with limited airflow. Through the cooling fins and air flow, as well as an internal thermal pad attached directly to the pump board, maximum cooling is achieved.
Decoupling
Another feature is the included decoupling option. It works if a pump top with a M4 threaded mounting hole is present, such as the Alphacool Laing DDC Acetal top. The special M4 screws can then be screwed directly into the decoupling set and after that into the case. The pump also comes as standard with an anti-vibration mounting system. It is available in black nickel and silver nickel, and this one is the black nickel version. Alphacool's verdict is that this pump should be the first choice for your watercooling system.
What the loop needs
Tops for this pump are in our DDC pump tops section. Power comes from a 4-Pin Molex plug at 12V DC, and the tacho signal goes out on a 3-Pin Molex connector.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
