The Alphacool DDC Decoupling Kit for Metal Housings is a screw kit with M4 screws and four decoupling standoffs for mounting a Laing DDC pump. It is specially designed for use with Alphacool's replacement DDC metal housings, which we stock in nickel and black nickel.

How it mounts
Alphacool lists this kit as its screw set Laing DDC metal bottom. The special M4 screws are inserted through the pump housing at all four corners and screwed to the attachment (the pump top). Each screw head has a hexagon socket for tightening it, and the actual decoupling is then screwed into that screw head. In this way the standoffs decouple the pumps, and these rubbers reduce vibrations during normal operation.
Alphacool calls this decoupling variant a new type of mounting for the Laing pump, an effective method and a very user-friendly option. With it the pump can be mounted anywhere, for example in the bottom of the case: drill four holes and attach the pump with the M4 screws provided.
What the pump needs
The kit holds a pump with a metal housing to a top, so both must be on hand. Tops are in our DDC pump tops section.
