The Alphacool DC-LT 3600 Ultra Ceramic - 12V DC - Bulk Version is a DC-LT ceramic 12 Volt pump. It measures 51 x 48 x 9 mm without fittings and runs from a 3-Pin fan plug. As the bulk version it has no threaded connections, so it needs a matching cover from our DC-LT pump tops.

Small systems
Alphacool calls this the compact pump with lots of steam under the hood, the mini version of a pump. Its argument: water cooling generally is not only for Big towers and the high-end sector. Barebones, HTPC and Desktop systems also profit greatly from a liquid cooling system and need to be supplied with cool water. Here extreme overclocking is not the goal, but rather total silence in the compact system.
Noise
Besides the fans, which are extremely quiet to silent thanks to the water cooling system, the pumps are another noise emitting element. Not with this pump, Alphacool says. It rates the pump as much quieter from the start than the majority of the competition, and as still powerful enough to cool CPU and GPU with ease. A ceramic shaft promises a long lifespan and permanently smooth operation.
Size
And the size? The outer dimensions are roughly the same as those of a 2 Euro coin, about 5 mm (0.5 cm) larger in radius. Alphacool calls it the currently most compact water cooling pump for computer cooling, the smallest for computers on the market. The technical specifications are in the table below.
What the loop needs
The pumped medium is water or a water/glycol mixture, and the permitted voltage is 7V-13.5V. Two M3x6 screws are in the box. Alphacool adds that mounting screws are not included in delivery. Some items, for example the Alphacool Repack - Dual DC-LT - 5.25 Single Bay Station, need 2 additional M3 x 8mm screws per pump to mount it. Notes
- Not suitable for continuous use with liquids containing titanium dioxide or glycerine. Alphacool notes that many pastel colors typically use these additives.
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
