The first Core Series radiator
Alphacool says its Full Copper Radiator Series has set the standard in liquid cooling performance for more than a decade. Now it introduces this model as the first radiator in its Core Series. In Alphacool's words it delivers outstanding cooling performance paired with an elegant, modern aesthetic. The housing is redesigned, and its clean contours are enhanced by the interchangeable side panels described below.
Full copper inside
As with Alphacool's proven NexXxoS models, all water-bearing components are made entirely of copper, including the fins, channels and chambers. Alphacool gives the reason as ensuring excellent thermal conductivity. Inside, the structure is optimized: sixteen instead of twelve water channels provide better flow dynamics, while the refined fin design further enhances heat transfer. Alphacool says the result is noticeably improved cooling. The technical data below counts 32 cooling channels and a fin density of 16 FPI.
Ports
The radiator features two G1/4 ports designed in what Alphacool calls its characteristic Core style. They are made from high-quality brass, in Alphacool's description, and precisely integrated into the end chamber to combine durability with a clean appearance. A fill and vent port sits on the opposite side. It simplifies maintenance by allowing easy filling and draining of the cooling loop.
Side panels and lighting
Each radiator has two interchangeable side panels in the box: one featuring discreet integrated aRGB lighting, and a classic, unlit version. So the look is available either way. Thanks to magnetic mounting, both versions can be swapped effortlessly and without tools. Alphacool says the aRGB version adds a striking visual accent, making the radiator a true centerpiece in any cooling setup. The lit panel carries 11 digital aRGB LEDs that run on 5V through a 3-Pin JST connector.
What the loop needs
Of the three G1/4 ports two are used, IN and OUT, so the radiator takes two fittings. The fill and drain port takes the G1/4 plug from the box, and its thread length is limited to 5 mm at most. The radiator holds two 120mm fans on one side or four on both sides, and the fan mounting thread is M3.
