The Alphacool Core 2 XT 360mm CPU AIO is an AIO liquid cooler with a 360 mm radiator for AMD AM4 and AM5 and Intel LGA 1700 and LGA 1851. It distinguishes itself from conventional sealed AIO coolers through its serviceable construction. It combines a NexXxoS HPE full-copper radiator with G1/4 ports, a Core DC-LT 3 pump and three Apex Stealth 120 mm aRGB PWM fans. The same cooler comes with a 280 mm or 420 mm radiator.

Fit
Compatibility is short: AM4 and AM5 on the AMD side, LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 on the Intel side. The CPU mounting hardware in the package includes one bracket set for each maker. According to the manual, an AMD board keeps its original backplate once the two-piece retention frame is removed. The backplate in the box is only required for the Intel socket.
Before mounting, the manual has you clean the CPU and apply the thermal grease, and a putty tool for spreading it is among the accessories. Remove the protective film, then hand tighten the mounting only.
Custom loop parts in an all-in-one
The cooler brings technology and materials traditionally found in custom water cooling systems into a convenient all-in-one CPU cooler. It is designed for users who want high cooling performance without building a complete custom loop. It delivers many of the advantages of a custom system while retaining the convenience of an AIO.
CPU block and pump
At the heart of the CPU block is cooling technology derived from, and based on, the proven Core 1 series of Alphacool. A chrome-plated copper cold plate transfers heat from the processor into the coolant efficiently. The integrated pump provides reliable circulation throughout the system. Operating at speeds of up to approximately 3,800 RPM, this powerful PWM pump delivers a maximum flow rate of approximately 2.1 L/min and a head pressure of up to 1.4 meters. Block and pump are enclosed within an aluminum housing. The aluminum does not touch the coolant, remaining completely isolated from it.
Full copper radiator
Heat is dissipated through the radiator. Unlike many AIO radiators, its cooling fins, channels and pre-chambers are manufactured from copper for excellent thermal transfer. The large HPE radiator is 30mm-thick. It utilizes 14 cooling channels and an 18 FPI fin structure, providing substantial cooling capacity while maintaining a relatively compact profile.
Fans and lighting
Three Alphacool Apex Stealth 120mm PWM fans provide high static pressure airflow through the radiator. Each fan operates between approximately 380 and 2,600 RPM, producing up to 59.79 CFM of airflow and 3.35 mmH2O of static pressure. Zero-RPM operation is supported: it allows the fans to stop completely when cooling demand is low. Integrated 5V addressable RGB lighting adds customizable illumination to complement the subtle aRGB lighting of the CPU block.
Serviceable design
Alphacool incorporates components and design principles from its DIY water cooling ecosystem, allowing the cooler to be maintained and serviced when necessary. The radiator has four G1/4 inlet/outlet connections and a dedicated G1/4 fill and drain port for easier maintenance. These two features further support long-term serviceability, repair and flexibility. The tubing is TPV, which is both flexible and durable.
How to connect everything
As an all-in-one, the cooler also needs no loop built around it. The pump and the fans are PWM controlled, and a PWM extension cable is in the box. The manual connects the pump and its aRGB lighting first, then the fans, then the fan aRGB lighting. The lighting is 5V addressable RGB, and an ARGB adapter and an aRGB extension are supplied for it. The manual's last step shows the fillport, and a plug tool is in the box.
