The Alphacool Core 2 LT 240mm AIO is a compact all-in-one liquid CPU cooler designed specifically for small form factor systems and builds with limited installation space. As the successor to the Eisbaer LT, the Core 2 LT combines Alphacool's proven full-copper radiator technology with an upgraded PWM pump, high-performance fans, and a streamlined CPU block to deliver effective cooling in a remarkably compact package.
Cooling is handled by an Alphacool NexXxoS ST25 full-copper radiator measuring just 25.5mm thick. Unlike many conventional AIO radiators, the cooling fins, channels, and pre-chambers are all manufactured from copper for efficient heat transfer. Its slim profile significantly reduces the space required for installation, making the Core 2 LT particularly well suited for compact cases where radiator clearance is limited.
The CPU water block and pump are integrated into a single compact unit. A chrome-plated copper cold plate efficiently transfers heat away from the processor, while the new Alphacool Core DC-LT 3 PWM pump provides up to 2.1 L/min of coolant flow and a maximum head pressure of 1.4 meters. With speeds reaching approximately 3,800 RPM and PWM control, pump performance can be adjusted according to system load to balance cooling performance and noise. Subtle blue LED illumination on the CPU block provides a clean visual accent.
Two Alphacool Core 120mm PWM fans provide airflow through the radiator, reaching speeds of up to 2,500 RPM. Each fan delivers up to 72.63 CFM of airflow and 2.42 mmH2O of static pressure, providing the airflow necessary for effective heat dissipation through the compact ST25 radiator.
Installation is simplified by 320mm TPV tubing and rotatable 90° fittings at the CPU block. These allow the tubing to be positioned around nearby components and routed cleanly inside space-constrained cases. Combined with its slim radiator and compact pump/block assembly, the Core 2 LT 240mm provides an excellent balance of cooling performance, installation flexibility, and value for users looking to add liquid cooling to a compact system.
