Alphacool Aurora HardTube LED Ring 16mm Chrome - RGB (15354)

This Alphacool Aurora HardTube LED ring is an RGB lighting ring for 16 mm HardTubes, in chrome, with 3 RGB LEDs, a 4-pin male RGB connector and a 30 cm cable, one ring per pack. Simply slide it over the tube, a HardTube or other water cooling tubes, and it will shine.

How it is built

Alphacool's text says the ring itself is made of pure brass, while its technical details give the housing as Plastic Chrome. Inside the ring are the 3 RGB LEDs and two O-rings. The O-rings are used to hold the ring in its desired position and to prevent scratches when passing over the HardTubes. The connection is made via the 4-pin male RGB connector.

Lighting the loop

Alphacool calls the ring the perfect solution for illuminating the HardTubes or hoses of a water cooling system, and says it will shine perfectly. Using these rings, completely new possibilities of lighting for your own water cooling are available. The classic RGB LED strips or RGB fans can be connected to achieve what Alphacool describes as a harmonious and impressive appearance. Combined with the Alphacool Eiswater liquids for the fluid, Alphacool says you are limited only by your imagination for the colorful effects.

What it needs

The Aurora HardTube RGB LED rings are compatible with all common RGB controllers. They can also be used with any motherboard and their included controllers, including ASUS ROG Aura Sync, ASRock RGB LED, MSI Mystic Light and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion. Depending on the connection, a suitable adapter may be required. The simplest way to control the LEDs is by using the Alphacool Aurora RGB controller.
