The Alphacool Apex Stealth Metal Fan 2000rpm White - 120x120x25mm is a 120 mm metal fan in white, article number 13820. It runs at 400 to 2000 rpm and is controlled by a 4-pin PWM connector. It is suitable for mounting on radiators and for use as a case fan, and its Zero RPM control can bring the fan to a complete stop.

Whisper Quiet
The fan blades, the motor and its suspension are completely decoupled from the metal frame. For this purpose a special damping system was placed between frame and fan, where it absorbs all vibrations. Alphacool calls this type of decoupling technology patent-pending and a completely new system, one it has brought to the market for the first time with the Apex fan. In addition, the impeller is equipped with a closed frame of its own. That ring prevents the impeller tips from fluttering at high speed, which also has a positive effect on the fan's characteristics. Alphacool says the Stealth is not only one of the most powerful fans but also remains the quietest at any speed.
Powerful All-rounder
Alphacool calls this fan a true all-rounder that sets new standards in terms of airflow and static pressure. Therefore, in its words, the fan is perfect for mounting on radiators and provides excellent airflow as a case fan too. The speed can be controlled between 400 and 2000 rpm via the PWM signal, and the startup speed is ~420 rpm. The Zero RPM control the Stealth offers can be used to hold the fan at 0 rpm.
Apex Design
According to Alphacool, its Apex product line represents the highest level of perfection, and first-class materials and innovative technologies guarantee a unique premium product. These are the features Alphacool names for the fan: high-quality, elegant as well as timeless design and technical innovation. It adds that the robust metal frame and a special rotor are what certainly impresses. Consisting of high-quality metal, a zinc injection molding (die-cast zinc), the curved frame gives the fan its distinctive design. Alphacool says it fits perfectly into any PC build.
Additional Features
As usual with Alphacool, multiple fans can be effortlessly connected in series via daisy chain, and the daisy chain cable length is 110±10 mm. The cables can be hidden in the corners of the fan so that they are no longer visible. A 50 cm PWM cable is also included as an extension. The 6-pole motor works in combination with the HDB bearing (Hydro Dynamic Bearing). Alphacool says that pairing ensures extremely quiet operation and high durability, and gives the MTBF (lifespan) as 100,000 hours. The fan also sends a tachometer signal and has auto-restart.
What the fan needs
The fan needs one 4-pin PWM fan header at 12V DC, on the motherboard or on a controller from our fan controllers section. Screws are in the box: the manual says to use the 6-32 UNC screws, the M4 screws or the Stealth mounting nuts on a radiator. Its power consumption is 2.64 W and the start-up voltage is 6V DC.
