The Alphacool Apex Pro Skeleton Carbon Case is a PC case for water cooling that takes ATX, mATX, EATX and ITX mainboards and has three radiator mounts, two for 360mm and one for 120mm. It comes with a distro plate with a 750ml reservoir and a pre-assembled VPP Apex pump, plus a vertical GPU mount with PCIe riser cable. The Apex Skeleton Carbon Case is the version delivered without a distro plate, pump and vertical GPU holder.

A new level of creativity
The case is made from carbon rods and CNC-milled aluminum connectors, and was specially developed to meet the requirements of water cooling systems. It is characterized by a design in which all components are screw-mounted, which allows for extensive modifiability. So as not to limit creativity, the Skeleton can still be completely dismantled (disassembled) and adapted to suit your personal requirements. Equipped with those three radiator mounts, it offers what Alphacool calls ideal conditions for high-performance cooling systems. The mainboard tray including cable box can also be positioned flexibly. The smoked glass side panel is another feature that opens up additional design options, as is the freely selectable positioning of the front panel. A GPU bracket and cable in the box let the graphics card stand vertically. All in all, Alphacool promises a great deal of freedom and creative ideas, under the line "Unlimited freedom with the Alphacool Apex Pro Skeleton".
Exclusive distro plate
The included Distro Plate is designed exclusively for this case and offers connection options for CPU, GPU and radiators. Alphacool says the pre-installed pump has enough power for complex cooling loops. The connections of the plate are made of chrome-plated brass and embedded in the acrylic, which avoids the problem of possible leaks due to cracking. Fitted with O-rings, the two connector parts lock together during installation. The manual marks the ports: OUT leads from the Distro Plate to the component, IN comes back from it. The pump cable has a PWM control signal plug and a power connector.

What the build needs
The distro plate has nine G1/4 threads, two fillports and one drainport. Each port in use takes a G1/4 fitting from our fittings section, and the six plugs in the box close ports that stay unused. Radiators go on with the screws supplied with the radiator, and the SSD with its own screws. The power supply takes its own screws or the 6 - 32 UNC screws, and can also be mounted rotated. For the horizontal GPU bracket the manual has you remove the cable holder from the rear of the motherboard mounting plate by loosening its 4 screws. When closing the side panels, tighten only by hand.
