The grip
The outer grip area of the fitting carries an integrated silicone surface, a key feature of the Apex Grip series. It provides a better hold when tightening by hand and noticeably facilitates installation, especially in confined spaces. Alphacool says this not only makes installation more convenient but also offers greater control.
Material and coating
The fittings are made of brass, which gives them high stability and durability. This is complemented by a coating that protects against chipping. Alphacool describes both the coating and the workmanship as high-quality, and says the finish further emphasizes the series' sophisticated character. The precise manufacturing ensures a reliable seal within the cooling loop, and the fitting is designed for high-flow performance within the system.
The modular system
Apex Grip fittings utilize a modular system that enables flexible and customized connection solutions for modern custom water cooling systems. At the same time it allows for versatile applications and adaptation to individual setups. Combined with the elegant design in the distinctive Apex style and the comfortable handling, Alphacool calls the series the ideal choice for demanding systems. It also calls these fittings the perfect choice for anyone who places particular emphasis on handling and an elegant appearance in their own loop.
What a run needs
The thread screws into any G1/4 port, and the other side takes soft tubing in 16/10 mm. A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, so the six in this pack cover three runs.
