Hose retention and closure
Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions series specifically developed these new HF quick-release couplings for TPV hoses. Thanks to a locking ring, Alphacool says they have very high tensile strength. The ring consists of metal and claws with hooks, which grip the hose. Unlike others, the quick release uses screw caps; this simply prevents the closure opening up as a result of vibration or movement. Furthermore, there is no click closure to loosen. Alphacool says its double seal guarantees maximum tightness, while the closures are not only for safety but also for longevity.
Nylon construction
Being made of nylon, the coupling does not react with other materials. Alphacool calls it extremely durable and says it can easily be used with copper and aluminum parts in the water circuit because of this. The data sheet also calls the design space-saving. These closures were designed for easy use in a water cycle, according to Alphacool.
