Some of you probably remember the drama Duke Nukem Forever. Let's put it this way, in the end it wasn't that bad with our FTW3 cooler. After all, it “only” took us a year longer and the result is definitely impressive. Our new FTW3 cooling block combines all the knowledge and experience we have gained with the HEATKILLER V generation and combines it all in an incredibly chic and elegant overall package.

By increasing the number of cooling fins, we managed to increase the cooling performance directly above the graphics processor and thus improve the most important area. The radiator base, milled from a solid block, establishes contact with all relevant components. The pioneering dual-layer inflow distributes the water on two levels at the same time. This ensures an inflow that is at least 30 percent higher than with our previous generation.
The wide and symmetrically designed flow paths reduce dead spots (stagnant water) to a minimum and accelerate the flow. The overall result increases not only the maximum cooling performance but also the flow rate of the HEATKILLER® V. Thanks to newly designed spacers made of high-performance plastic (PEEK), the 10mm solid copper block is ideally insulated from the circuit board.
In addition to the technical innovations, the design of the cooler is also impressive. The screwless cover makes the entire block appear as if it were cast from a single piece. The symmetrically designed channels further emphasize the look of the cooler and make it a unique eye-catcher. The integrated aRGB strips are now also standard in combination with the nickel-acrylic variants. This means that the HEATKILLER® V can be perfectly integrated into the computer's lighting concept.
The legendary Kryonaut thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly creates the best possible contact with the processor. The thermal pads, pre-cut by a CNC machine, ensure exceptional cooling of the voltage converters. The ease of installation is also not compromised; the pads can be removed without leaving any residue.

The HK V can be further upgraded with optional components such as an active backplate or a vertical connection terminal (also available in Plexiglas® GS). Only selected materials from well-known manufacturers such as EVONIK, whose original Plexiglas® GS we use, are used. Even the metals, such as the high-purity copper, come from renowned brand manufacturers.
The production is carried out with the greatest care on our ultra-modern CNC machine park in Waren. Many work steps are carried out by hand and each product is brought to perfection according to the four-eye principle.
