Threads and rotary joint

On each fitting the male thread goes into a G1/4” port and the female end takes the next part, for example a 16/10 compression fitting in the same finish. The small, compact dimensions allow modular combination with other DeltaMate Rotary and Extender Fittings. When additional parts go on, they do the securing: the subsequent fittings mechanically lock the rotary joint together, which Thermal Grizzly describes as maximum security. The fitting includes an aesthetic cover with the DeltaMate logo. The included cover is optional and can be rotated to any orientation.

General information

DeltaMate Rotary Fittings are water cooling connectors, designed for linking the individual components of a loop. As expected from Thermal Grizzly quality, the fitting is precisely machined from brass. Being an alloy of copper and zinc, brass is harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper, while it offers the advantage of staying anodically compatible with other metals. The sealing rings (O-rings) are EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), made to be highly elastic and resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The finish takes the form of a matt black chromium plating that Thermal Grizzly calls premium and that is also easy to clean.

Installation

The robust design allows for installation using an 8 mm hex key, and due to its size the fitting is easy to install in tight places and SFF builds. Per Thermal Grizzly, it requires an 8mm Straight End Hex Key, and the maximum thread depth is 4.5 mm. The uniform outer diameter of all DeltaMate fittings ensures seamless integration with the others in the range. Thermal Grizzly calls the design elegant and minimal, one that integrates seamlessly with every fitting that has the DeltaMate name.
