Thermal Grizzly's DeltaMate 16mm HardTube Compression Fitting HT16 in Matt Nickel is a G1/4" compression fitting for hard tubes with a 16 mm outer diameter. It also comes in black and as a 6 pack, and for 14 mm hard tubes there is the HT14.

General information

DeltaMate fittings are water cooling connectors that Thermal Grizzly designed for the individual components of a custom water cooling loop. They are precisely machined from brass, as expected from Thermal Grizzly quality. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. It offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals while being harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), a highly elastic material which is resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The fittings are coated with a matt nickel finish, which Thermal Grizzly calls a premium finish that is also easy to clean.

Tube installation

The HT16 fitting in matt nickel is designed for tubes (hard tubes) made of rigid plastics or metals. Thermal Grizzly designed it for ease of tube measuring and installation. For this, the tube does not penetrate into the fitting but sits mounted on top of it. That flat base enables tubing to be installed from any direction with complete visibility. A custom O-ring with a high surface area securely grips the tubing with high retention force.

Note: Only hard tubes with 16mm outer diameter fit this one.

Fit in the loop

Installation is done using an 8 mm hex key (8mm), which the robust design of the DeltaMate fittings allows for. The compact overall dimensions facilitate installation in almost any watercooling loop. All DeltaMate fittings share one uniform, consistent outer diameter, which ensures completely seamless integration of the individual components.
