General information
DeltaMate fittings are the water cooling connectors Thermal Grizzly designed for the individual components of a custom water cooling loop. As is expected from Thermal Grizzly quality, the fittings are precisely machined from brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. It offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals while being harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), which is highly elastic and resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The glossy nickel finish the fittings are coated with is, in Thermal Grizzly's words, premium and also easy to clean.
Tube installation
The HT14 fitting in glossy nickel is designed for tubes (hard tubes) made of rigid plastics or metals. Thermal Grizzly designed it for ease of tube measuring and installation. For this, the tube is mounted on top of the fitting but does not penetrate into it. That flat base enables tubing to be installed from any direction with complete visibility. A custom O-ring with a high surface area securely grips the tubing with high retention force.
Note: The fitting is only for hard tubes with 14mm outer diameter.
Fit in the loop
Installation is done using an 8 mm hex key, which the robust design of the DeltaMate fittings allows for. The compact overall dimensions facilitate installation in almost any watercooling loop. All DeltaMate fittings have the same uniform, consistent outer diameter, which ensures completely seamless integration of the individual components.
