Grommets
A grommet is the rubber ring that lines a hole in a steel panel so the edge does not cut into whatever passes through it. Cable pass throughs in a case tray, a tube run out of a basement, or a hole you cut yourself and would rather not leave raw.
Stocked here: Phobya cable rubber grommets in black, in a round and an oval profile. Round for a bundle, oval where a flat ribbon of sleeved cable needs to lie down rather than bunch.
Check the panel hole size and the thickness of the steel before ordering. A grommet that is loose in the hole will work its way out the first time you pull the cable.
