Fan Cables
Fan cabling is where a clean build usually falls apart. The fan is 30cm from the header, the cable is 20cm, and the only way to fix it is another part. This section is that part.
Extensions: Alphacool 3 pin to 3 pin and 4 pin to 4 pin at 15cm, 30cm and 60cm, in black and in white so the cable can match the build rather than fight it.
Splitters and hubs: run several fans off one header, from Darkside, Phobya and Alphacool.
Adapters: 4 pin Molex to 3 pin fan, 3 or 4 pin fan to the 4 pin mini GPU fan connector, and a 4 pin mini GPU extension at 40cm for cards where the stock fan lead will not reach after a block goes on.
PWM control needs 4 pins all the way through. Put a 3 pin extension in the middle of a 4 pin run and the fan drops to voltage control, which on most pumps and high static pressure fans means it sits at full speed.
