The buffers are equipped with an extremely soft rubber element that is in contrast to conventional tougher industrial buffers optimally adapted to the pumps used in PC water cooling systems. To help distinguish from "normal", the harder buffers Aquacomputer rubber elements are made with yellow colored rubber. Harder industry buffer can absorb and, therefore, significantly more vibrations transmitted by the pump to the housing, the vibrations only significantly worse.
