Filter element for plugging into an aquaduct. The filter element is very easy to install and can be removed at any time and cleaned again.

To mount the filter of Plexiglas lid of aquaduct removed and plugged in the filter element in the right side profile of the aquaduct. A circumferential seal fixes the filter insert in the side profile and effectively prevents the lateral passage of unfiltered coolant. To clean the insert can be easily removed again, the close-knit network of stainless steel is fixed to the Delrin frame and can for example be cleaned with a brush. Despite the very fine tissue, the flow is hardly reduced measurable, the reduction is approximately in the range of 1%. A flow monitoring is recommended to detect clogging of the filter.
