The Aquacomputer Dr. Drop Professional Pressure Tester includes Air Pump (34090) is a leak tester for water cooling with a base part of black anodized aluminum. It checks the pressure of your entire loop or of individual components up to 0.6 bar, and its G1/4 internal thread takes the hose fitting for your tube.

How the tester works
Aqua Computer says Dr. Drop is the right choice to check a loop, and calls it an ingeniously simple tester. The included air pump creates the test pressure, and it is precisely displayed on a 63 mm manometer. Via the second valve, the test pressure can be adjusted and maintained over prolonged periods of time, then released after completion of the test.
Test procedure
- Connect the tester to the part or system; draining all components first is advisable.
- Pump to approx. 0.55 bar through the valve connector, then set exactly 0.5 bar with the discharge valve. Tapping the manometer lightly with a finger increases accuracy.
- Remove the air pump from the pressure tester.
- Wait at least 15 minutes for single components, at least one hour for a complete cooling system.
- Tap and read again: the manometer must still show exactly 0.5 bar, with no change.
- Release the air with the discharge valve.
To hunt a leak, hold 0.5 bar and coat the part with water or soap solution: bubbles show where it leaks.
Bonus for bicyclists
In addition to its loop duty, the air pump is also compatible with car tire valves (Schrader) and French (Sclaverand) valves. Furthermore, the tester has a suitable bicycle pump holder in the box (hole size for a bottle holder), and even a needle for ball valves.

Pick one G1/4 hose fitting, in the size which matches your preferred hose diameter, from our fittings section; hose fitting and hose are not included in delivery.
