What is in it
Aquacomputer formulated DP Ultra in cooperation with Dr. Tobias Voigt. It contains multiple specially selected components, and according to Aquacomputer it is the result of extensive testing. Aquacomputer says these offer optimal protection from corrosion, which still allow maximum cooling performance. Its electrical conductivity was reduced to a minimum.
The coolant is manufactured completely in Germany. Aquacomputer says it is made following the highest quality standards and using only the best and most pure contents.
How it helps the loop
PC water cooling systems often mix a multitude of materials, and DP Ultra was specially designed for applications in systems containing them. Its active ingredients reduce foam build-up and bubble formation in the cooling fluid. By featuring optimal flow properties, they also optimize the heat transfer between water block surfaces and the fluid.
Aquacomputer says this combination of features allows maximum cooling performance and longevity for your system. It also says DP Ultra achieves great cooling performance compared to other offered ready-to-use coolants, and that it improves on flow properties with its unique contents.
The liquid itself is clear and almost completely odor-free.

The same coolant comes as the Double Protect Ultra - Clear 1000ml, and the blue version also comes as the Double Protect Ultra Can - Blue 5000ml.
Notes
- We recommend, as Aquacomputer does, a yearly replacement of the coolant.
- The colored Double Protect Ultra fluids look darker inside the bottle than inside hoses.
