The Aquacomputer Aquabox Professional Bay Reservoir | Black is a single 5 1/4 inch bay reservoir milled from solid Delrin, with five G1/4 threads: three at the rear and two on top for easy filling. It comes without fittings, so order matching G1/4 fittings separately.

What changed from the previous model
Compared with the previous model, the aquabox professional was revised and improved by Aquacomputer in several points. The new features include G1/4 threaded connections and, among other changes, two additional connection threads on top of the aquabox. A stainless steel bezel is now sunken into the windshield and held with countersunk screws. Aquacomputer describes the front as completely plane optics, with the faceplate sunk to a precise fit and the screws sunk as well.
The body is made from Delrin and milled from solid material, making it extremely resistant, and corrosion resistant as well.
Coolant flow over the windscreen
Aquacomputer kept the proven layout in which coolant is fed through the inlet channel and over the inside of the windscreen. Maintaining that flow keeps the windscreen fog-free, thereby preventing fogging, and it creates a very nice optical effect. The same flow gives what Aquacomputer calls an effective elimination of air bubbles on the windshield.
The amount of water led over the windscreen is easily regulated by two stainless steel grub screws in the inlet channel, whereby adjusting them makes the amount customizable. The inlet channel itself has a large cross section for low flow resistance.
Connections and filling
Three G1/4 connecting threads sit at the rear. One should be used as the feed and two as the return, so the coolant can return twice; or one of them serves, for example, as a lighting possibility. Two more G1/4 threads on top are there for easy filling of the aquabox, and therefore the front window no longer must be removed to fill it. An Aquacomputer Fillport (art. 34013) can also be connected to this thread, for example.
For filling without tools, the magnetic mounting system (34022) is the optional, tool-free option; it is not included. Only the white variant has mounting points for up to four 5 mm LEDs for effective lighting, so this black one has no LED mounting.
What the loop needs
The reservoir is delivered with no fittings: order G1/4 fittings for the threads you use from our fittings section. Threads you leave unused are closed with the sealing screws in the box.
