This is a 5000 ml canister of extremely pure, transparent water for PC watercooling systems, a ready-mix without any additives. It is made just for Alphacool and comes directly from a high-grade reverse osmosis system. Alphacool lists it as compatible with all available PC watercooling systems.

How it is cleaned
This water is cleaned with 5 special filters, one of which is a special reverse osmosis filter. Alphacool says that after them the water is absolutely free of the salts, metals and contaminants which are in tap water. In its words, the treatment removes virtually any contaminants and unwanted substances.
Alphacool's list of what the process takes out starts with chlorine, odors and heavy metals such as lead, copper, cadmium and mercury. It goes on with agricultural chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and drug residues. The last entries are carcinogenic organic chlorine compounds, radioactive substances, asbestos fibers, tar compounds, nitrites and nitrates. The water is made in Germany.
The advantages
Alphacool rates the water as virtually completely electrically non-conductive and absolutely contaminant-free: < 0.1 µS/cm, approx 100 times less than in standard distilled water. Hence it leaves no stains when evaporating and no lime scale deposits form: no limescale or other residues if evaporated.
Alphacool adds that the low pH value lets the water even absorb deposits, up to a certain amount, so that the cooling system remains permanently clean.
What the loop needs
The water goes in as it is. Without any additives it keeps its full thermal conductivity, and there is no interaction with other additives. Those you add yourself are in our dyes and additives section.
