The Alphacool Silicone Bending Insert 30cm for ID 1/2" / 13mm HardTube - Blue is a blue silicone cord for bending hard tube with a 13 mm (1/2") inner diameter. It sits inside the tube while the tube is heated and bent. It is 30 cm long, and there is one insert per pack.

How it is used

Alphacool calls the insert the perfect solution for perfect bends in its HardTubes. Simply insert the silicone inside the HardTube, which Alphacool describes as an acrylic tube, and heat the desired location. Thanks to the extremely heat-resistant silicone, the pipe can now be bent without the curved point kinking or buckling. After cooling, the silicone can be easily removed by pulling it out again.

Sizes and lengths

The inserts are available for HardTubes with 10 mm, 12 mm and 13 mm inner diameter. Each comes in a 30 cm length for curves in short pipes and a 100 cm length for curves in longer pipes. The ones we stock are in our silicone bending inserts section.
