This sealing plug is a transparent acrylic sealing cap, 65 x 19.75 mm (Diameter x Height), that closes an unused VPP/D5 pump mount in a custom liquid cooling system. It installs in place of a standard VPP/D5 pump, with a suitable O-ring, and one plug comes in the pack.

Features
The cap provides a simple and reliable way to close a pump mounting position that will remain unused. It is ideal for configurations where the designated pump location stays empty, either temporarily during system changes or permanently as part of the finished cooling loop. It allows compatible reservoirs, distro plates and other custom water cooling components with such a mount to be used without installing a pump there. That suits temporary or permanent pump-free configurations alike.
Construction
The cap is manufactured from transparent acrylic, which the technical specifications name as LXN865, allowing it to blend discreetly with acrylic reservoirs and distro plates. Its slightly convex surface creates a clean, finished appearance, while the subtly raised Alphacool ribbon logo adds a refined visual detail without disrupting the minimalist design: a subtle mark, nothing more.
Installation
Installation is straightforward. The sealing cap is positioned in the mount where the pump would sit, with a suitable O-ring installed between the cap and the pump housing to create the seal. The existing VPP/D5 pump mounting bracket is then installed over the cap and secured to the housing. The mounting screws are tightened evenly, which should ensure proper positioning of the cap and O-ring. When it is sealed this way, the cap securely closes the pump opening to help prevent coolant leakage, which helps maintain the integrity of a securely sealed loop.
