Details
The Alphacool NexXxoS ST25 Full Copper 120mm Radiator is a slim 120 mm radiator for one 120 mm fan, which the data sheet lists as ultra flat with 25 mm height. The end chambers, the water channels and the cooling fins are copper, and it has two G1/4 ports.

Make no compromises, use copper
As usual, Alphacool uses pure copper for the NexXxoS ST25 slim radiators: end chambers, water channels and cooling fins are all made of it. Alphacool calls that a unique selling point worldwide and says no other manufacturer relies on pure copper for all these components combined. As a result, it says, it has been producing one of the most popular and highest performing radiators on the market for many years. In Alphacool's words that is providing "the perfect foundation for every water cooling system".
Full cooling capacity
To maximize the performance of a radiator, Alphacool says it reaches deep into its bag of tricks, and copper is the starting point. It gives a thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminum and calls the winner clear. Alongside this comes what Alphacool calls its special fin density. Alphacool describes itself as one of the oldest companies in the field of water cooling. It says it has carried out countless laboratory tests, and the result is a fin spacing of 15 FPI. This means the air flow is only slightly obstructed, as the air can pass through even without high pressure. However, Alphacool says the cooling capacity does not suffer from this, on the contrary. To use the airflow optimally, all cooling fins have small serrations: tiny flaps that guide the airflow in the desired direction and increase the surface area. These are barely 1 mm high in the case of radiators, but Alphacool says they still provide controlled air turbulence to increase cooling capacity and minimize airflow noise.
Compact
Alphacool says the ST25 slim radiators offer the ideal liquid cooling solution for Mini-PCs or SSF (Small Form Factor) systems. Due to the extremely flat design they suit such small cases. Due to the reduced size, they also give you the extra space you need to work in the case. The next thickness up for the same fan size is the NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper 120mm.
Safety first
Like the previous NexXxoS radiators, the ST25 radiators offer special protection that prevents fan or mounting screws from being screwed in too deeply. Protective plates have been placed under all mounting holes, which ensure the screws cannot be inserted too far. That protects the cooling fins and water channels underlying them.
What the loop needs
The radiator has two G1/4 threads and a loop uses both, so it takes two fittings. It is built for 120 mm fans, and Alphacool gives the possible fan assembly as 1 x one-sided / 1 x both-sided. The box has four M3x30mm, four M3x5 mm and four M3x35 mm screws and an Allen key.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
