The Alphacool M3 Radiator Screws And Spacers - 34mm (article no. 14556) consists of 4 M3 screws and 4 plastic spacers for mounting a radiator on the outside of a PC case. The spacers hold the radiator 34 mm off the housing.

What the spacers do
To mount radiators outside the case you need the appropriate screws, and Alphacool says its M3 spacers are designed for exactly this mounting option. The spacers are put over the screws during installation. This gives a gap between the radiator and the case panel. That distance is necessary so that the air, which is blown down on the radiator by the fans, can escape to the side.
Where the set fits
The spacers are of course also suitable for other mounting locations, as long as the material thickness does not exceed 1.5 mm. Alphacool notes that the material of a PC housing is usually 0.6 to 1 mm thick. Alphacool's technical data gives L x D as 35.5 x 8 mm, under the name M3 Spacer 34mm.
