The HT compression fitting

Alphacool calls the HT Compression fitting a true masterpiece and says these connectors promise absolute tightness and high quality. The fitting is suitable for all hard metal tubes with an outer diameter of 13 mm. On the other side of the connector it is, as usual, the G1/4 thread. It is available in Deep Black and Chrome.

How it seals

First, we put the union nut onto the tube. This is followed by a plastic disc which protects the O-ring, and then by the thick O-ring itself. Now the tube is easily inserted into the connector, in which the second O-ring is already seated and rests very close to the tube. As a final step, the union nut is pushed onto the connection and screwed on. The bottom of the compression fitting can be easily tightened by using an 8 mm Allen key.

What a run needs

A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, and each screws into a G1/4 port. Tubes to match are in our 13mm hard tubing section.
