The HF series

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice. In its words the inner diameter of these fittings truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. The first three colors are Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper, which Alphacool says offer something for every taste. The product matching series are designed to look elegant in every system, Alphacool adds, highlighting the individual design of the computer. Alphacool's claim is that the limits are endless with these fittings in combination with Alphacool tubing.

Finish

The chrome comes from a new process: during chromatising the surface finish is completely connected with the brass body. Alphacool credits that bond with ensuring the result, hence permanent intense colors and no peeling of the chrome layer. The Alphacool name sits in blue lettering on some of the fittings, which additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What a run needs

One side of the connector has a 1/4" thread, which Alphacool says makes it compatible with 95% of all components. The other side is suitable for a 13/10 mm hose, sold here as 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD soft tubing. A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, and Alphacool offers the six-pack since six connections of one type are often required. Each fitting is 20 mm in diameter and 23 mm high.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
