The Alphacool HardTube Bending Kit Basic is a tool set to cut, deburr and bend PETG HardTubes with 10 mm and 13 mm inner diameter. It holds a deburrer, a cutter, a bending tool and two silicone inserts. Please note that acrylic HardTube cannot be cut with this cutter, as it would shatter when cut.

Deburring made easy
Everyone who works with HardTubes knows the rule: they must deburr all ends of the tubes. The classic deburrer from Alphacool offers the ability to do that inside and outside. The external deburring is the extremely important one, so that the tubes fit perfectly into their fittings and do not damage any O-rings. Inner deburring, by contrast, is only used to remove cutting residue. For a clean result the tool has three steel blades with sharpened edges, and due to its large round shape Alphacool says it fits perfectly in the hand.
Cutting PETG tubes
The Eistools Modding Cutter works like scissors, which Alphacool calls ideal for cutting PETG HardTube. Of course, you can also use it on cables and other soft components. The integrated protractor can be used if you want to cut angles.
Bending tool and silicone inserts
For bending HardTubes a silicone insert is absolutely necessary, because it prevents the tube from collapsing at the bends. A waterbased lubricant or similar will help the insert glide better, while oil based lubricant and too much soap should be avoided. Never use alcohol, as this can damage plastics such as PETG. With the small but practical bending tool you can easily bend simple angles: the tube is pushed into it, heated with a heat gun and can then be bent very easily.
What a build needs
The only additional items you will need are the HardTubes and a heatgun that can produce low temperatures. With this simple combination, Alphacool says, you can make the liquid cooled PC of your dreams. Alphacool's other Basic kit, with a saw and miter box in place of the cutter, is article 29144.
