The Alphacool HardTube 13mm OD 90° Brass 10/50cm - Chrome is a brass hard tube with a 13 mm outer diameter, bent to 90° at the factory, one tube per pack. Alphacool's technical data gives the short side as 10 cm and the long side as 50 cm. The brass is chrome plated.

Look and finish
Alphacool says its Brass HardTubes give the user the opportunity to give their liquid cooling loop, the water cooling system, a very special look. Alphacool offers the brass HardTubes in chrome and black, straight and pre-bent, and in various sizes. It calls the chrome plating or painting extremely durable, with scratches and chipping only to be expected in the event of strong force.
Cutting and installing
The wall thickness is 0.8 mm, which makes the tubes very strong, but they're still thin enough to be cut and installed without great effort. When cutting the pipes to length, make sure to smooth the cut edges. Use a fine grit sandpaper or the Alphacool Strong Guy pipe and hose deburrer, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings.
What a run needs
A tube run takes two fittings for a 13 mm outer diameter, one at each end. They are in our 13mm OD hard tube fittings section.
Notes
- Alphacool's note on application: use the tube only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids.
- The particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
